General Info

There are very few options for ferries between Europe and Turkey. The only direct routes are from Italy or from Italy to the west coast ports in Greece and the Greek Aegean services from Athens to the Greek Islands. From the Greek Islands there are daily services during the summer to the main Turkish Resorts. Which route you choose depends on availability and whether or not you want to visit Greece and the Greek Islands en-route. The main options are:

· There is a weekly DIRECT non-stop ferry every week between ANCONA-CESME. This service is only available from April to November.
· There is a weekly DIRECT, non-stop ferry every week between BRINDISI-CESME. This service is only available from June to September.
· There are year round INDIRECT ferry-land-ferry services from Venice, Ancona, Bari or Brindisi to Patras (Greece), Patras to Pireas (Port of Athens), by car, coach or train and a daily ferry from Pireas to the Greek Islands of Lesbos, Chios, Samos, Kos or Rhodes. From May to October there are daily ferries from these islands to the adjacent resorts in Turkey, and a 3 times weekly service between Kos and Bodrum from October to April.

TICKET DELIVERY/ COLLECTION OPTIONS: ALL FERRIES:
· Ticket sent by recorded delivery post to any accommodation address in Turkey €8.
· Ticket sent by trackable DHL WORLDWIDE EXPRESS to any address outside Turkey, worldwide €44, Europe €35.
· Voucher sent by email or fax, collection of the ticket from the Ferry Company's port office on the date of departure, €15.
· Collection of ticket from the Ferry Company port office on the date of departure without voucher, €30.
· Collection from our office, address as above, on any day between 09h00 and 18h00.

During the summer season (May to October), there are daily ferry services between several of the Turkish Aegean Resorts and the closer Greek Islands. The Turkish ferries leave between 09h00 and 10h00 and return late afternoon. Advance passenger booking is recommended, car ferries do not operate every day, so check availability and book in advance. For day return trips, Greek departure taxes are waived, however if you return to Turkey after more than one day in Greece, you will have to pay a departure tax of approximately €11, to the Greek port authorities. During the low season, between October and May, some services are either not available or reduced to three crossings per week (Bodrum/Kos).

Athens - Rhodes

There are two daily car ferry services and one 3 times weekly service between PIREAS (Port of Athens) and the Greek Islands of KOS and RHODES.

NOTE: We are now able to make reservations on the three times weekly service between Athens and Kos/ Rhodes. For more information please complete our ferry inquiryform, including details of your requirements.

For the daily services it is usually possible to book on arrival at the port in ATHENS, RHODES or KOS. During the summer season, from KOS and RHODES there are daily ferry connections with the Turkish resorts of BODRUM and RHODES respectively. During the winter season from October to March there is a three times weekly service between Kos and Bodrum on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
